![]() Does not care about the document encoding. Does not differentiate between an empty element () and element with no content (). For example, in the XML Notepad, I see the following: - FILE. XML Diff performs XML-based comparison of the XML documents, as opposed to a common lexical comparison. Whenever there are any fields that are different between two XML files. The diffgram can then be used to display these differences or perform a patch using the XML Patch tool. The utility can detect structural changes (such as the move of an XML subtree) and can create an Xml Diff Language Diffgram (XDL diffgram or just diffgram) that describes the differences between the two XML documents. This utility can be used for comparing two XML documents and then patching the original document with the differences, to create a final document. In the meantime, please keep the feedback coming (it is much appreciated!) and give a try to the XML Diff and Patch. However, we are considering it for future releases. ![]() Unfortunately it came too late in the XMLNotepad lifecycle (and I mean by this the date this issue was first signaled) so it cannot be fixed. Thank you so much for signaling this issue. ![]()
